Sans surprise, l'Alliance a été plébiscitée au Port, commune phare du parti communiste réunionnais. Paul Vergès totalise 66,60% des voix. Avec un tel score il ne laisse aucune chance à l'UMP Didier Robert, 11,09%. Nadia Ramassamy (divers-droite) est 3ème avec 5,32% des voix. Les autres listes n'atteignent pas les 5%.
